About Turtle Paddle Works |
Turtle Paddle is a small family run business headquartered near Bracebridge, Ontario - the heart of Muskoka's cottage country, 2hrs north of Toronto. We started making paddles in January 1995 and became Turtle Paddle Works one year later.
The business has grown steadily since our early days of making paddles in our basement, and while I’m not the only one in the shop making the paddles, I’ve trained every craftsman and personally inspect every paddle before it’s shipped out. We are extremely proud of the paddles we make, and are dedicated to continuing to carve them by hand as much as possible. The product line has grown and so has our family of retailers - for that we are grateful. There is nothing more satisfying for us than to see a Turtle Paddle in the hands of a friendly paddler on the water or at the portage.
